Freshloc provides Internet monitoring of food safety by transmitting temperature and humidity information via wireless sensors to a web site.   If the temperature and/or humidity falls outside the user-defined range, alerts are sent out through email, cell phones or pagers.  The data is then stored on a central server where it is archived.  Both users and their customers can then view historical and real-time data through the Internet as a way to verify food safety.  In the current environment of increased food safety awareness and regulations, their product provides a solution to companies in various stages of the food distribution chain that is not available anywhere else.
